PAR Podcast 
​

Our participatory action research podcast series features youth and adults with mental health conditions reflecting on their roles in research, along with suggestions to promote inclusion in all stages of scientific inquiry.

Let's Talk about Mental Health Services Research Series

This tailored education is offered via Twitter to cultivate the next generation of scientists interested in studying health disparities, social determinants of health, and the physical health needs of diverse people with mental health conditions. 

Healthcare Integration 

This program provides medical education, curricular transformation, and workforce development across the 3 University of Illinois College of Medicine campuses to improve the capacity of emerging physicians to deliver effective, integrated primary and behavioral health care.

Promoting a Healthier Lifestyle

This project is creating toolkits to promote a healthier immune system and smoking cessation for adults in mental health recovery, also to be posted in our Solutions Suite.

Telehealth Navigation

This project will result in a Solutions Suite toolkit to promote the use of peer health navigators to improve care coordination for patients with mental health conditions.

Technical Assistance Cadre

The Cadre offers technical assistance to diverse audiences on a range of behavioral health, integrated care, self-determination, crisis prevention, recovery, cultural competency, and other key topics.

The Exchange offers three additional components to achieve knowledge translation ​to affect practices, policies, and science.

The UIC Solutions Suite offers health, self-determination, and recovery tools for immediate programmatic or personal use.


​Policy Academy

The UIC Policy Academy provides resources and technical assistance to disability and other policymakers.

The UIC Science Showcase features the latest evidence on mental health and health promotion.
