What is the workbook? This workbook combines two wellness tools. The first, Wellness in 8 Dimensions, shows how wellness involves eight key factors, including emotional well-being and physical health, along with one’s finances, environment, social connections, intellectual pursuits, occupational endeavors, and spirituality. The second tool, The Wellness Daily Plan, helps people monitor their wellness in each of these eight dimensions.

How does it work? |
The workbook was designed as a self-guided tool, but it also is taught in groups. It is used in community-based programs, as well as in state and forensic settings. It can be used anywhere that a person or a group wants to assess their overall wellness, set goals, and monitor progress.
The Wellness in 8 Dimensions tool includes activities to help users assess their strengths in each of the eight dimensions, goals they would like to pursue, and needed support to achieve their goals. These activities offer insights into what people feel they’re doing well and what they might do to improve their well-being. The Wellness Daily Plan provides definitions and examples of wellness goals, along with a chart to document ongoing progress. The chart includes each day of the week to help users more easily track their daily wellness activities. The workbook is best printed double-sided. The cover depicting the eight dimensions of wellness is in color, but it can be printed in black and white as well. |
